Accounting FAQs
How long must I keep records?
UAE corporate tax law requires records to be retained for at least seven years following the end of the tax period they relate to. Records must be sufficient to substantiate the figures in your return.
Which accounting software do you use?
We work with the major cloud platforms including Xero, QuickBooks and Zoho Books. If you already use one we adopt it. If not, we recommend the one that fits your volume and reporting needs.
Do small companies really need bookkeeping?
Yes. Even companies claiming small business relief must maintain records to demonstrate eligibility, and the FTA can request them. Reconstructing a year of transactions retrospectively costs far more than maintaining them monthly.
Can you fix historical records?
Yes. We regularly take on catch-up work where books have fallen behind, reconstructing prior periods and bringing filings up to date.
How much does accounting cost?
It depends on transaction volume, the number of bank accounts and whether payroll and VAT are included. We quote a fixed monthly fee rather than hourly rates so your cost is predictable.
Get Your Books in Order
